right now my hair is the longest it has ever been, with it falling to around my waist. so i have had to take extra care of it seeing as i have not had a hair cut in long over a year now.
during winter and spring i wanted to see what difference a "hair detox" would make to my hair and whether styling etc was really bad for it...well, it is.
i have not dyed my hair since around june and have minimalised my styling of it (curling/straightening) to only when i am going out and not for everyday. i have also never blow dried my hair as it always looks really dry and brittle afterwards.
this was fantastic! my hair is currently at it's longest and probably it's healthiest. i have no split ends what so ever and my hair seems stronger and shinier than it usually is.
so even though i have been walking through life for the past few months with regrowth and half wavy half straight hair, it has paid off.
now when i return to my hairdresser, who i have dearly missed over the past 5 months, i will not have to have a whole heap of hair cut off and maybe "just a trim" will actually be just a trim this time!
i don't want to have my hair cut at all because it is in such healthy condition but it has been growing at different rates so it does look a little bit thin towards the ends :(
i have booked a colour and TRIM in for 1st december and i'm waiting in anticipation for my hairdresser's reaction to my ever growing hair and it's condition!
