mac makeup

i just found out today that my local shopping centre has opened a mac counter! before i had to travel at least 25 minutes into the city to get to a mac counter which meant i usually just ordered online. now i can drive less than 5 minutes! and now i know the exact shade i am buying before i actually buy it.
it's my birthday at the end of december so i had a few friends over for a brunch and i got 2 more things...woodwinked eyeshadow which i had wanted for sooooooooooooo long and then well dressed blush which i also really love. i also ordered dark deed from the venemous villains collection and it is SO good! i love really dark and really bright lipsticks but i have never owned a dark one, now i finally do! yay.
i also got money from one of my friends so i am going to buy black track fluidline because i have wanted that for a long time!

i also received my foundation and powder and my espresso eyeshadow and russian red lipstick a few weeks ago too :)

can't wait to go check out the counter in the next few days!

bio-oil update

this stuff is AMAZING! there is no other words for it basically.
ok so i could possibly have the driest skin on the face of the earth and when i miss a day my legs already look like they are going to crack open or flake away...this was until i used bio-oil!
my mum got me hooked on this stuff around winter time when my skin was getting even dryer than i thought was humanly possible and i'm obsessed!
i use it every day after my shower(s) mainly on my legs and arms, i also like to put it around my eyes when i go to sleep (i have really bad hayfever so the constant rubbing my eyes is not very good for them) and when i wake up my face is fresh and feels great!
i don't think i could ever stop raving about this stuff because it is literally giving your skin a drink!
love it love it love it love it love it.
my second 60ml bottle is on it's last legs and i am definitely going to get the bigger one next time, if only it came in 1L bottles!

hair detox

right now my hair is the longest it has ever been, with it falling to around my waist. so i have had to take extra care of it seeing as i have not had a hair cut in long over a year now.
during winter and spring i wanted to see what difference a "hair detox" would make to my hair and whether styling etc was really bad for it...well, it is.

i have not dyed my hair since around june and have minimalised my styling of it (curling/straightening) to only when i am going out and not for everyday. i have also never blow dried my hair as it always looks really dry and brittle afterwards.

this was fantastic! my hair is currently at it's longest and probably it's healthiest. i have no split ends what so ever and my hair seems stronger and shinier than it usually is.
so even though i have been walking through life for the past few months with regrowth and half wavy half straight hair, it has paid off.

now when i return to my hairdresser, who i have dearly missed over the past 5 months, i will not have to have a whole heap of hair cut off and maybe "just a trim" will actually be just a trim this time!

i don't want to have my hair cut at all because it is in such healthy condition but it has been growing at different rates so it does look a little bit thin towards the ends :(

i have booked a colour and TRIM in for 1st december and i'm waiting in anticipation for my hairdresser's reaction to my ever growing hair and it's condition!

something that really annoys me

ok so early this year i went to mecca and bought nars orgasm blush and the woman conned me into buy an $83 blush brush from prescriptives...it is a really nice brush and it works really well...i don't use it that often so i have only washed it once and the other day i go to use it ANDDDDDDDDD it fell out of the handle...this really annoys me because you can get any brand of brush that will end up giving you a similar result and i finally get a good quality, expensive brush and it falls apart.
i am so annoyed...

it's the most wonderful time of the year

ok so right this minute there are 43 days 7 hours and 35 minutes until christmas day!
it is officially my favourite time of the year because i have the three best times of year in 1 week! (christmas, my birthday, nye)

so there is this shop around the corner from my house called christmas presence and it's only ever open in november, december and january. last year i think i spent about a million dollars in this shop on decorations, wrapping paper, ribbon, glitter, presents and just stuff i don't really need but makes my house look so christmassy!

so i went there this afternoon and it is just as good as i remember! there are free lollipops and candy canes and everything is gold, silver, green, red and just so colourful and great! i spent over an hour in this shop which isn't even huge but is crammed full of everything you could ever need to decorate anything around christmas time!

i eventually left spending just over $30 with a few assorted things (christmas essentials as i would call them) i got...
silver wrapping paper
gold wrapping paper
gold curling ribbon
silver curling ribbon
pearl curling ribbon
silver glitter stars
red glitter stars
silver and blue foil gift tags
gold 'noel' decoration
and a set of make your own metallic paper chains!

i am so excited to use all this stuff for when i wrap presents and decorate my house. my whole family is coming to my house for christmas lunch so there should be at least 20 of us all together to have fun!

so this is just my first purchase at christmas presence for christmas 2010 and i am sure i am going to buy so much more because christmas is so much fun for everyone and it is definitely my favourite time of year! (i have already started humming carols)

lifestyle you...

i am obsessed with lifestyle you channel on foxtel at the moment. all this british reality tv is so entertaining and i can't stop watching it!
my favourites include:

four weddings
toddlers and tiaras
my big fat gypsy wedding
britain's youngest brides
underage & pregnant
oh and cake boss but i think that's on arena?

i am in love with these shows and if i don't stop watching them instead of studying, then i will definitely need to repeat year 12 next year haha.

i have to go to work now which is annoying because i am tired and can't really be bothered going out of the house haha

father daughter dinner dance...

ok so we had this father daughter dinner dance a little while ago. basically if you are a year 12 you and your dad (and an "adopted daughter" in our case) go to a dinner dance, hence the name, and it's just a really fun night with nice food and dancing etc.
so i have a few photos of me and my dad!...and my friend farrah who came as dad's "adopted daughter" because her dad couldn't come.
they also had this really cool photobooth machine so dad and i were in the line for like half the night, dressing up as things and taking photos AND then you got to keep the strip for free! so cool!

yay rabia!

dad and i

sistaz

dad and i doing gaga

the group

the best table!

definitely was one of the best nights of year 12...

another order!

so i have come to a realisation that i have an issue with ordering mac online...yes, i have made another order!
this one was more of a necessity than me wanting more makeup really.
so i ordered:
select sheer/pressed powder in NW20 (i know i am as pale as a ghost!)
studio fix fluid spf 15 foundation in NW20
espresso eyeshadow
russian red lipstick
i ordered the eyeshadow and the lipstick because i have a performance season coming up and i am in desperate need of a new deep red and a new brown eyeshadow :)
the other two is just because i wanted it really but i am just saying "my foundation is running out"...really? 1/3 left...

so when it arrives, which will hopefully be next thursday or friday i shall express my thoughts on all..

OH BY THE WAY! i am still obsessed with the venemous villains mineralize eyeshadow duos i bought! i really love wearing them as a liner on top with a really thin line of liquid liner just above the lashes...it makes my eyes really pop i think :)

so now i must go and repay my mother for the purchase of these new things
P.S. MAC HAS FREE SHIPPING TO AUSTRALIA AT THE MOMENT FOR PURCHASES OF $150 AND OVER!!! GO GO GO!
teppie.xx

oh and aloe vera juice which was introduced to me by rabia AKA farrah :)

P.S. tates loves STEELEeing things in the NICK of time, she HATHAWAY with inflicting FEAR ON people's lives...tehehe just JOSHing

the beginning of the end

ok so WACE exams start today which are my final exams of high school, i've already done my 3 practical exams so now i just have the written to go. i have 5 exams left spread out over 22 days, i also have a 10 day break in the middle which is gooood :)
i am so far beyond nervous, i've studied everything i've learnt this year for drama and made it all into 21 palm cards. those 21 palm cards seem like nothing but right now they are my life and if something happens to them i possibly may just crack and fall apart.
13 years at the same school has all led to these 5 exams. i know that when i'm old and wrinkled these exams will mean absolutely nothing but right now they seem like the biggest thing in my life.
i'm just excited to get started because after the first exam the others will fly by!
i know more than i think i do and i just need to calm down, read the question and write everything that i remember!
fingers crossed for myself...

random facts

i am really bored and also quite sick so i have decided to do some quick blogging that i always find really interesting :) so here are 5 random facts about me...

1. i love performing more than anything in the world! yes i was one of those children that got fake tanned and had makeup slapped on their face to get on stage and dance. my mum was definitely not a pushy stage mother like so many people assume, she has 2 left feet and can't even clap in time with music so she was not the one who decided i would be doing ballet...that was me! i have loved every minute of it and 2010 is my 13th year of doing tap, jazz and ballet!

2. i was held back a year for school. i have a really late birthday (29th december) and so my mum decided that i was not going to school when i was meant to and kept me home for an extra year. so i am one of the oldest in my year group which means i had my license all the way through year 12 and i will be able to legally buy alcohol at the end of the year!!

3. i am obsessed with my dog! my dog is a labrador retriever called harry or haz or he has gained harold with old age. he is 12 which is old for a lab but he still bounds around like an idiot half the time and steals all my things the other half. i got haz when i was 5 and we had another labrador called lucy who was 2 years older. she got diabetes and when we were on holiday in 2008 she got really sick and died :( but harry is the cutest thing in the world to me and i love him!! he is allowed everywhere in the house and he especially loves sleeping on my bed and the bathroom mat haha.

4. i love old people! they are the cutest people in the world and i always seem to cry when something bad happens to an old person. i can't watch movies where an old person's husband or wife dies and i can't watch old people cry. (i cried for the first half an hour of the movie harry brown because michael caine's wife died and i could not deal with it!)

5. i am allergic to one of the best things in the world! i am allergic to honey...and i love it! honey crackles are one of the best things in the world and i love honey on crumpets and honey in my yoghurt BUT it makes my throat get really itchy and then i need ventolin etc and it's not really worth it. organic honey makes me have less of a reaction but i still feel like shoving my hand in my mouth and itching my throat! i am also seriously allergic to cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and birds. i recently had a serious reaction where i thought i was going to die. my friend's rabbit was inside and it was losing heaps of fur and then my laugh started changing and my voice became really quiet and high pitched then i couldn't breathe very easily and had to sit in a cold shower to cool off and make my neck and throat stop swelling...it was really scary haha.

so yeah those are 5 random facts about me that i just thought of randomly :)

top 5

i was looking through my itunes today and was wondering what songs i have played the most in the 2 years i have had this laptop so they are...

5th (106 plays): possibility by lykke li...this is the song from new moon where edward just left bella and she is depressed and it is such a gooooood sooong!!

4th (111 plays): tie between bad romance by lady gaga...who doesn't love this song?! it is definitely gaga's best ever and it never gets old, it's always the song that makes me sing alone in my car haha...and fader by the temper trap :) love this song!

3rd (162 plays): this is a tie between skinny love by bon iver which is also a slow song but really good...and waka waka (this time for africa) by shakira, this song was good for a short while then i got very tired of it, i also did it for a dance so it doesn't really count...

2nd (286 plays) you've got the love by florence + the machine. this has to be my favourite song of early 2010! i played this on repeat for about 4 months straight...i know i love a song where i have seriously over played it but still love listening to it

and my number one favourite/most listened to song in my itunes with 456 plays is...
sweet disposition by the temper trap. this is my favourite band and i love the whole album. i have had this album for over a year now and it never gets old, i love listening to it when i just want to chill out because it's such easy listening music and the lyrics are amazing!!! i will never get tired of sweet disposition...ever!

spring favourites

it is coming towards the last month of spring and i have some favourites that i have been loving...

1. maxi dresses
i feel like a maxi dress is my saviour when i have nothing to wear to something that is not too casual, not too formal. a maxi dress can be dressed up or down depending on the fabric and the accessories. i own 2 maxi dresses both in a chiffon style silk, one in red and one in white. i tend to wear them to brunches, get togethers or dinners...i love them!

2. bright lips
i LOVE bright lips, i have bought so many lipsticks in coral and pink this year...it's such a fun look and can really make you stand out in a plain outfit. always keep bright lips paired with a neutral eye (i like winged eyeliner...)

3. red lips
i think red lips are great all year round but i have been wearing them especially this spring (maybe because of all the birthday get togethers i have been to). i enjoy wearing a red lip when my outfit is basic or is one plain colour, i feel it makes the outfit more vibrant (again wear with a neutral eye).

4. winged eyeliner
this is my favourite eyeliner look at the moment and i especially love it with a thin line of bright shadow above it...depending on the size of the wing it is good for night and day and it's also really easy and quick to do!

5. coloured smokey eye
i think this is such a good look for spring! sometimes a black smokey eye is a bit harsh, especially if the what you are wearing it to is in the day. so i like to use a colour as the base, for example blue, purple or green are nice. still use darker shades of these colours so it's still a smokey eye but it makes the look less harsh and easier to wear from function to function!

6. wedges
i don't have a pair but i really really really want one! i don't really like the look of wedges with a cork heel but i do love a black wedge (especially in suede, which is what i want!) i think they go nicely with nearly every outfit, from a maxi dress to a cocktail dress to jeans! they are also amazing for when you are standing on grass, which will be a lot in spring, and i kind of wish i wore some wedges to my school ball instead of dying with leg cramps!!

(my image uploader just broke?! but i was going to attach some jeffrey campbell wedges which are AMAZING!!!)

i don't want spring to end! i love the fashion and the way everything looks in spring but then again i am looking forward to summer!

motivation

so tonight is a boring wednesday night and for some reason unknown to me glee hasn't been uploaded onto the net?!?! so i have been listening to some oldies but goodies to get me through the night...
john lennon - power to the people
crowded house - fall at your feet
the pretenders - i'll stand by you
edith piaf - non je ne regrette rien (does this count as french study)
who's that girl - eurythmics
i think old songs are always a good choice when you don't really know what to listen to.

i really want to try to find ANY shop in australia that sells urban decay primer potion because i really need an eye primer and every seems to like this...i would also enjoy the naked palette, but i can always wish!

tv shows

i don't really like to watch tv but i do enjoy watching programs on the internet because there are no ads and it's often more up to date than australian tv.
at the moment i'm rewatching glee season 1 and true blood season 1. they are my 2 favourite shows and i want glee on dvd!!!
i am also really enjoying junior masterchef on tv and offspring which are both on a sunday night in a row!!! such a good night on tv...hence why i actually turn it on haha
i really also want to see easy a which heaps of people have already seen and say it's really gooooood...
teppie.xx

venemous villains

so my mac order arrived this morning and i already wore it today to my french oral exam.
i absolutely love these products like they make me get that excited feeling in my stomach like i want to jump up and down!
the mineralize duo eyeshadow are literally so pigmented and such amazing colours! they also come in really cool packaging, i even want to keep the boxes! haha

so i got 'she who dares' mineralize eyeshadow duo which has two tones of the blue and green family with black undertones. it's more like 2/3 blue and 1/3 green but thats alright.

the next thing i got was 'my dark magic' mineralize eyeshadow duo which is basically the same as 'she who dares' but in pink and purple. i like using them both together, with the pink of my lids and the purple in my crease (what i wore to my exam...the examiner even asked me at the end of my exam if my makeup was mac and that it looked really nice)
(same packaging as 'my dark magic')

the coolest thing about these two eyeshadows are that they are really pigmented as well as really glittery..almost like it's a mac eyeshadow with a pigment on top...my most hated thing is when you get something that is bright and then has no pigment on the skin or when something glittery looses it sparkle on the skin, so really impressed by these two!

these are the colours using some fix + spray...amazing!!! they are even more sparkly and glittery in real life and i think my favourite is the green so definitely going to try that as a liner on the weekend!

i also got 'carbon' matte eyeshadow. it came in the collection for limited edition packaging but i just got the regular version because it was $5 cheaper and i'm saving money.
this is a must have for every person who likes to wear smokey eyes! it is perfect for the outer corner and crease and it's nice for a less sparlly version of the smokey eye look...again really pigmented and i love it!

so just a little order this time but one of my most exciting so far!!
teppie.xx

nails...

ok so i have had acrylic nails on since september 2009 and i finally took them off today! i really hate the look of long natural nails so i normally kept my acrylics fairly short, to look quite natural. anyway i was getting really fed up with the peeling on the edges and they didn't work very well with my job...
so i got some pure acetone and decided to soak them off...this was a bit of a fail. i am really impatient and i was meant to soak them in acetone for 30-60 minutes to get them off...i didn't. i soaked them for like 15 minutes then peeled/picked/filed them off and ended up ripping my right thumb nail and it bled and still really hurts...i guess it serves me right for not being patient. BUT i am trying to grow them out so i can wear them short and just have nice nails and not pay $35 every fortnight to get my acrylic nails refilled. I think it will take around 2 months for my nails to be completely grown out and back to usual so i can't wait!! they are really weak right now and kind of hurt when i push on them... :(
i have just put 2 coats of OPI top coat on them for a bit of strengthening :)

almost finished

today i have my last exam, which is maths, until i start my final exams in 3 weeks! so instead of studying i have been obsessed with watching the catherine tate show on youtube, especially the disgusted couple...it's such a funny show and i seriously recommend it to anyone!

i am saving up money for melbourne so i have picked up extra shifts at work and am babysitting at least once a week. i go to melbourne in 89 days, yes the countdown has begun, so i need to stop buying makeup and maybe confiscate my card...

my new obsession is bio-oil, it is an oil that can be used to reduce scars and stretch marks but i really like using it as a moisturiser...seeing as i have really dry skin it works really well. normally if i miss a day of moisturising my skin becomes so dry and i don't even know why? maybe because i don't drink enough? hmm i have no idea haha. but anyway at the moment i have the 60ml bottle but there is also the 120ml and the 200ml bottles which are better value...

i think that the bottle isn't as eye catching as other moisturisers but it definitely works better and has a longer lasting result for me :)

more mac...

the venemous villains collection came out online in australia this morning so i had to order some before it sold out! i first up had an order of over $300 but then reduced it down to $134 including postage and handling. I got the maleficent mineralize eyeshadow duos in my dark magic and she who dares, i love these colours and from what i have heard on youtube reviews etc they are really pigmented. i also got carbon which has been released as part of the cruella line.
i will include swatches and pictures when it comes!

studying

so tomorrow is my first exam, which is english...so i have been studying quite a lot - to my parents surprise - and have picked up some study tips which really helped me.

so to start off with you have to have the perfect studying utensils, these will be different for every subject, so for me these include...
coloured highlighters
black, blue and red gel pens (gel pens are way easier to write with in exams)
led pencils
calculator - the big one as well as a small one for easy sums
eraser
white out
and coloured pencils

i find it really difficult to get into study mode so i have been allowing myself to go onto other websites or watch tv after a section of work...for example, i'll work for 1 hour then i'll watch something on youtube or some tv for 15 minutes maximum

also i have bound all my notes for subjects because in some cases, like english, i have 150 pages of notes that i need to study! this is easier if they are in a binder and in order of when they were studied. i then highlight the most important parts of these notes and then get a matching coloured post it note to that highlighter and stick it on the top or the side of the page with the subject that it is covering.

also eat and drink what suits you, i find that i don't snack when i chew gum so chewing gum whilst studying means less distraction and procrastination. and for me i find that digesting milk and other dairy products takes a long time, so i don't eat or drink these right before studying otherwise i won't be focussed.

i'm also not afraid to ask questions, the teacher's job is to teach and so if i don't know something i'm not going to fail that section of the exam, i'll ask my teacher, or my friend if they can explain it better.

i also really like going onto websites to find other methods of teaching the subject, just make sure the website was written by someone who is an expert on the topic and not someone who just has an opinion on it.

so tomorrow i start my first of 10 written exams that finish in under 2 months, i can tell a lot of chewing gum packets are going to be chewed from now until then...

mac order

i finally picked up my mac order and i've tested everything out sooooo

zingy matte eyeshadow ($32)
really bright and pigmented on the eyes, nice as a liner.

vibrant grape satin eyeshadow ($32)
i love this colour but when it goes on the eye it isn't as pigmented as i had hoped for, like so many purple eyeshadows. it looks nice and bright when you wet your brush first, also nice as a liner.

gorgeous gold veluxe pearl eyeshadow ($32)
i LOVE this colour, it is so nice and is great for using on the brow bone for a highlight with browns. this also looks really nice when put over blue and green eyeshadow to add a metallic sort of look.

electric eel satin eyeshadow ($32)
this colour is also a favourite, it looks like it would be quite similar to zingy but when put on next to each other they are actually different. this is also nice as a liner or with black to create a brighter smokey look than usual.

win-win dazzle lipstick ($35)
this is such a nice lipstick, it's the fusion of a lipstick and a lipglass in one and although i don't normally wear lipgloss i really like this look. it also stays on a really long time so is good for when you go out for meals or at night. i also love the coral colour, especially for spring and summer time.

troublemaker dazzle lipstick ($35)
again this is the fusion of the lipstick and lipglass and it is a really nice effect on the lips. this colour is really bright so if you don't enjoy people staring at you then don't get it...haha but seriously it's quite different to something i would normally wear but i really enjoy it. i probably wouldn't wear this colour in the day, but i would wear it if i was going out at night.

so that's what i picked up online at http://www.maccosmetics.com.au/
i only just picked this up and already i have a wishlist for next time. this includes...

electra eyeshadow ($32)
beautiful iris eyeshadow ($32)
shroom eyeshadow ($32)
black tied eyeshadow ($32)
woodwinked eyeshadow ($32)
pink freeze eyeshadow ($32)
brule eyeshadow ($32)
plumage eyeshadow ($32)

so i guess i have to save up $266 (including postage) for my next mac order...doubt that will happen! although i have heard mac is much cheaper on eBay, hmmm...

things i'm loving

things i love at the moment...

•brunches
•public holidays
•natural hair
•my dog
•springtime
•warm sunny weather

top and bottom 3 cheap mascaras

so here are my top 3 and bottom 3 cheap mascaras that i own. i am very picky with mascaras as they have to dry quickly but also give lots of volume and length. i know when mascaras dry quickly as i have really bad hayfever so when i put my perfume on after my mascara and i sneeze there should be no mascara dots on my eyelid...

so bottom 3 first...

3. rimmel london extra super lash, lash building mascara
this mascara actually looks quite nice when applied but it takes forever to dry! literally about 10 minutes, this is good if you don't sneeze ALL THE TIME! but for me it was just too much work to keep removing the dots on my eyelids.

2. sportsgirl daringly defined, defining mascara
this mascara comes with a comb rather than a brush, which i sometimes like but this comb was just too tiny to apply anything onto my eyes. i had to apply 3 coats before i was remotely happy with the effect and by then i was just annoyed because i have wasted 10 minutes putting on mascara when i could have taken 2.

and my least favourite mascara is...

1. maybelline sky high curves, extreme lengthening & curl mascara
this mascara dried out in the tube very quickly, it also has a weird smell that is quite gross. the mascara didn't apply very well because it was dry before being applied so just went on in clumps onto my lashes.

so now for my top 3...

3. rimmel london glam'eyes mascara, ultra volume, high definition mascara
i absolutely love this mascara for the day. it has a comb brush which means it doesn't apply too thick or clumpy. although it adds quite a lot of volume, it still has a very natural look to your lashes due to the comb seperatign each lash.

2. maybelline new york the colossal volum' express waterproof mascara
this mascara is literally out of control! it makes your lashes look like they are on a lash add where the model is clearly wearing false lashes! it is truly amazing and i love the look. it does take a bit longer than i would like to dry (maybe 5 minutes) but it is waterproof so will last all day, especially good in summer when you are swimming. i can not get over this mascara how good it is, it really lives up to it's colossal name!

and my favourite mascara is...

1. rimmel london the max volume flash mascara
this is my all time favourite mascara for going out. it makes your lashes thick, long and really dark. it makes them so thick that you could easily get away without wearing eyeliner. i really like this mascara for when i wear fake eyelashes because it makes mine the same thickness and look as the fake lashes. this mascara dries quickly on my lashes and it is really easy to get off with warm water or makeup remover.

so as you can see, i like fast drying mascaras that add volume and length to my lashes.

finished

so yesterday i finished school forever! yes i still have 2 sets of exams to go but i'm never really going to learn anything new so technically finished. i'm still shocked at myself for getting so emotional, think i cried for the last 3 days straight about finishing school. but now i'm really focussing on knuckling down for exams, my first exam is in 4 days which is a bit terrifying.

so my mac order came yesterday but i was out, so went to the post office to collect the parcel this morning and realised it's closed on weekends...so seeing as monday is a holiday i won't get my stuff until tuesday! so annoying, but only i am to blame.

my cameras are working really well, so please with them, really loving the cybershot especially...

went out to dinner last night to wagamama in subiaco...food was quite nice although service wasn't great, then went across the road to san churro for dessert.

really have to get rid of all my distractions before exams start in FOUR DAYS!

nothing to do

what is there to do now that true blood has finished? season 4 is out in january so i have to find 4 months of entertainment...study?

another thing...going to melbourne in january for a wedding then staying on for 8 days with 2 friends, will be 18 by then so need to save money in order to have a good time! aiming for at least $2000 spending money which is out of reach for me at the moment...more working for me.

work for me means every friday night slaving away next to a hot oven and talking to people who are usually very drunk. i work at an independent pizza shop that makes amazing pizzas and sells really good cheesecakes!
pizza of choice: tomato base, sprinkle of cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, kalamata olives, fresh tomato, cheese, mixed herbs...so yummy!!!

community service

currently loving doing community service, i love the feeling of helping people to do something that wouldn't be possible if they did it alone. so far i have done 123 hours of community services; sausage sizzle fundraisers, collections of various materials, food stalls, painting, talking to people who are alone, etc. the feeling i get when looking at someone's face after achieving something out of reach is amazing, there really isn't a feeling that compares...so i encourage everyone to do something for the community, whether that be baking a cake for the elderly woman across the street, or offering to mow someone's lawn...trust me you will feel like a great person afterwards and they will be forever grateful!

Starting off

basically i will just be writing about the day to day things people may want to know, music, makeup, movies and personal thoughts...

soooo
loving kings of leon's new song 'radioactive'...so good, love them!
also really liking cee lo green...really easy to listen to and songs are so fun and quirky!
bon iver and florence + the machine always personal favourites as well. some florence sounding amazing as always for you...(really love her dress in this also!)

still haven't seen salt, really wanting to see easy a...looks really funny and i love emma stone, she's great. also wanting to see tomorrow when the war began, just because it's an all australian cast and books are popular. most movies out at the moment seem to be either action or comedy...not much of a selection really.

just ordered some more mac makeup online...i have problems when it comes to the limited editions! ordered some brights in eyeshadows and lipsticks, really pushing the boundaries lately and wearing reds and pinks a lot...will show swatches when they arrive! here's a link to mac if you want to spend some money...
http://www.maccosmetics.com.au/

really enjoying everything parisian style lately...just got given a pillow and magazine stand in french theme and adore them! want to deck my whole room out with it! i want to soon return to france...one can only wish!

i recently boughy my second bottle of miss dior cherie perfume, still loving it after a year and a half...i think it will forever be my signature scent...

also i just bought a sony hd bloggie and have to admit, it is possibly the coolest thing i own right now! takes quick videos and photos (including 360ยบ lens) and can be easily uploaded with a built in usb! seriously couldn't have asked for anything more in a camera!
i bought it in purple because it's girly and chic without being typical and pink...

will update soon, about makeup, camera, as well as new music and movies.
